In line with this, the company is pursuing a two-year strategy to entirely eliminate cutouts from the iPhone’s display. Earlier speculations indicated that Apple would introduce under-display Face ID technology with the iPhone 18 Pro models, suggesting that the iPhone 20 will not showcase either the Face ID sensor or the selfie camera in its 20th iteration.
Although numerous Android manufacturers have already integrated under-display camera technology, many encounter issues with inferior image quality due to the lens being positioned behind display layers. Nonetheless, it appears that Apple has managed to achieve this technological leap without compromising image quality.
