All of which indicates: “The 355,” directed by Simon Kinberg, is a 2022 film centered on a team of elite female spies and currently ranks among the most popular films on Netflix, offering a delightful 2-hour experience. Interpret that statement as you wish.
From an objective viewpoint, the film was unsuccessful. It accumulated less than $30 million worldwide, while its production cost was no less than $40 million. Admittedly, it was released when theaters were still arguably recovering from the pandemic — but nonetheless. The interesting note here is that although critics mostly criticized it, viewers appear to have appreciated it. They continue to enjoy it today, as we will observe below.
