Apple TV+ has been delivering content effectively almost since its inception. It’s a streaming platform that boasts a better success rate than many competitors, and I often find its original programming leaves a positive impression. However, there are instances when Apple introduces a project that fails to resonate — and “All of You,” the service’s latest (sort-of) sci-fi romantic drama, regrettably falls into that category. At this moment, I’m still unclear about what I just viewed, or the film’s intended message.
While the film appears to be gaining traction for Apple right off the bat (it’s currently ranked #3 on the platform at the time of this writing) — and even though the performances of its two leads can be quite moving at times — “All of You,” unfortunately for me, is hindered by subpar writing and inconsistent editing that repeatedly disrupted my immersion in the story.
