Thorough Manual on AMD’s Zen 5 Pro Ryzen AI Processors

@momomo_us, AMD is preparing to unveil the newest enterprise Ryzen Pro CPUs. Powered by the Zen 5 architecture, these chips share similarities with the consumer-grade Ryzen 9000 (Granite Ridge) CPUs, but are tailored for business use, incorporating enhanced security and management capabilities. Ryzen Pro chips exhibit slightly lower performance compared to their non-Pro variants, yet they possess a significantly reduced thermal design power (TDP), rendering them both economical and efficient for diverse configurations.

The prior Ryzen Pro series debuted one year following the launch of the Zen 4 architecture with the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs (Raphael) in 2022. The Ryzen Pro models introduced were the Ryzen Pro 7945, 7745, and 7645 CPUs, featuring 12, 8, and 6 cores, respectively. Although new Ryzen 9 processors were unveiled earlier in 2025, the Ryzen 9000 series CPUs have been on the market for more than a year and a half, lending credibility to the speculation, especially as the titles of the new Ryzen PRO chips align with past releases.
