Apple Intelligence has been accessible for nearly a year on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The personal intelligence system includes features like Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground. Nevertheless, a report released a few months back noted that WhatsApp — along with all other Meta applications – does not provide support for Apple Intelligence.
Interestingly, this indicates that Meta has intentionally opted not to support some of the most useful features of Apple Intelligence, such as Writing Tools. So, if you’re composing a message on WhatsApp and wish to utilize AI to verify your spelling, condense the message, or enhance its formality, you would have to launch the Notes app or ChatGPT to create an improved version and then paste it back.
Since Meta has no intention of backing Apple’s AI technologies and is directing its efforts towards its own Meta AI platform, it has been revealed that the company is developing its own competing Writing Tools for WhatsApp, which suggests that Meta aims to completely circumvent Apple Intelligence.
