Incomplete Sci-Fi Series to Check Out: 5 Excellent Shows
binge-worthy sci-fi miniseries, these brief episodes come with the benefit of being quite compact. There are various science fiction programs (notably many that are based on other forms of media) that were canceled due to poor viewership or a decision from executives, yet still received enthusiastic critical acclaim or developed a loyal fanbase.
Some of these managed to lead to movies or spin-off series later on (some even debuted through lesser-known, three-season revivals), but numerous others remain dormant in their resting places, hidden jewels that only the most passionate seekers may discover. I aimed to compile a list that not only brings attention to the most obvious canceled treasures but also highlights some of those overlooked gems that time (and the streaming era) has neglected.

Apple Strengthens Environmental Efforts in India with New Collaborations
Apple has revealed an enhancement of its ecological programs in India, concentrating on three primary initiatives: clean energy, plastic waste, and green entrepreneurship. This action is integrated into Apple’s larger global environmental approach and signifies the company’s growing investment in India across multiple industries, including manufacturing and services.
The company is collaborating with CleanMax, a prominent renewable energy developer in India, to allocate around $10.6 million towards renewable energy infrastructure. This funding will facilitate the establishment of over 150 megawatts of new renewable energy capacity, enough to supply power to approximately 150,000 Indian households each year. Apple has previously worked alongside CleanMax on rooftop solar initiatives that deliver 100% renewable energy to its offices and retail establishments in India.
Alongside clean energy efforts, Apple is partnering with WWF-India to fortify recycling and waste management initiatives aimed at minimizing plastic waste in local environments. This program builds upon WWF-India’s current partnership with Saahas Zero Waste in Goa, which emphasizes the collection, sorting, and recovery of recyclable materials. The initiative will broaden its reach to new areas, such as Coimbatore, in collaboration with local authorities and communities.
Moreover, Apple is expanding its collaboration with Acumen, which assists social enterprises centered on clean energy innovation. This enhanced partnership will offer mentorship, strategic advice, technical support, and access to networks through catalytic grants to six green enterprises focused on solutions related to waste management, the circular economy, and regenerative agriculture.
These initiatives are part of Apple’s ongoing dedication to environmental sustainability, encompassing prior investments in renewable energy projects across Europe and backing for environmental education initiatives in China. The company’s actions are in line with its Apple 2030 initiative, which aims to considerably lessen its environmental footprint on a global scale.
