You may never have the chance to buy one again.

Interested in purchasing a Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold? You might be permanently out of luck. As noted by 9to5google, Samsung has updated the online listing for this large foldable phone, stating that the “limited run” device is “now completely sold out.” This likely means acquiring one in the future is improbable, if not impossible. Notably, Samsung had never labeled the TriFold as a “limited run” product until this update.
Currently, the site suggests users consider the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 7 instead.
The website now advises: “Keep visiting samsung.com to avoid missing future unique innovations, and access the latest foldables and high-end mobile devices from Samsung Galaxy.”
For those who have been following the TriFold’s journey, this development isn’t entirely surprising. The device debuted in Asia late last year and made its western appearance at CES in January. By March, there was already speculation regarding its limited availability. Samsung conducted a final restock online and at select retail locations in the U.S. in early April, marking the TriFold’s end.
Whether this was always intended or a consequence of Samsung realizing the unsustainability of producing a nearly $3,000 phone amid global memory shortages is unclear. Nevertheless, it seems those who wanted a TriFold either already have one or won’t be getting one.
