Apple TV has officially revealed the comeback of one of its most popular sci-fi series: Silo season 3 is set to arrive this summer.
### Silo Season 3 Launch Scheduled for July 3 on Apple TV
Apple TV is not lacking in high-quality sci-fi programming, and one of the platform’s most praised shows—Silo—is returning shortly.
Silo season 3 will debut on **Friday, July 3** with its opening episode, followed by weekly installments until September 4. This eagerly awaited return will feature a total of 10 new episodes and will act as the second-to-last season. Season 4 is already progressing toward completion.
Here’s Apple’s official synopsis for season 3, in addition to the first teaser trailer:
> Season three of “Silo” continues the tale of a dystopian civilization of 10,000 individuals existing underground under enigmatic conditions, while unveiling an origin story set centuries before. In the present day, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) endures her enforced “cleaning” but comes back with amnesia as the silo recovers from insurrection and confronts a perilous new danger. Concurrently, in the “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) stumble upon a conspiracy that entangles them in a series of events with catastrophic, irreversible outcomes.
Silo draws inspiration from a trilogy of well-known novels by Hugh Howey. Seasons 1 and 2 adapted the first book in the trilogy, while seasons 3 and 4 will weave together narratives from the second and third books.
Apple TV has a number of other eagerly awaited series premiering this summer too, which you can discover here.
