Flagship phones are becoming pricier for everybody. Motorola’s latest foldables are here, but their standout feature might be their cost rather than their specs. The upcoming lineup includes the Razr, Razr+, and Razr Ultra in the familiar clamshell design, launching on May 21, with pre-orders starting May 14. In addition, there’s new insight on the announced book-style Razr Fold.

Bloomberg reports that the base Razr starts at $800, Razr+ at $1,100, Razr Ultra at $1,500, and Razr Fold at $1,900, marking notable price increases from last year. Tech gadgets’ rising prices are attributed to a global memory crisis. The Razr Ultra offers a Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, 5000mAh battery, and high-end display features at $1,499.99. Razr+ comes with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and costs $1,099.99, while the base Razr uses a MediaTek processor, priced at $799.99.

Both Razr+ and Ultra feature 4-inch external and larger internal displays. All three models sport 50MP main and ultrawide cameras, with Razr Ultra having a 50MP selfie camera, and AI tool integration is notable across the devices.

The Razr Fold promises a 6.6-inch outer and an 8.1-inch inner display, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and boasting a 6,000mAh battery, setting its starting price at $1,900. The phone lineup will be available for preorder on May 14 and in stores on May 21.
