1 Min Read

Amazon Music has announced a partnership with Bandsintown to integrate concert listings into its streaming platform. By using the Bandsintown for Artists integration, users will be able to view live events on artists’ profile pages within Amazon Music and purchase tickets through Bandsintown. Artists must initially link their Amazon Music profiles for event syncing. Additionally, events from venues, festivals, and promoters using Bandsintown Pro will be automatically listed on Amazon Music. Karolina Joynathsing, Director of Business Development at Amazon Music, expressed excitement about the collaboration, allowing fans to discover shows alongside streaming music and accessing exclusive content. The feature is being gradually launched and will soon be fully available on both iOS and Android. Bandsintown hosts over 700,000 artists and 65,000 venues, with more than 100 million registered users. Previously, the company partnered with Amazon Music to enable artists to sell merchandise. While Spotify and Apple Music have been active in live event discovery, this marks Amazon Music’s first extensive foray into the feature.
