The latest Motorola Razr Ultra is more expensive than the previous model, priced at $1,499 compared to last year’s $1,299, with few updates. However, it remains a visually appealing device. The design features a returning wood-finish back panel and a new suede-like Alcantara option in orient blue. Changes include a new main camera sensor, a slightly bigger 5,000mAh battery, and the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Storage remains 512GB with 16GB RAM, similar to last year’s cheaper model. The new camera has a 50-megapixel sensor with improved dynamic range via LOFIC technology. Additional updates include increased brightness on the inner screen and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 on the outer screen for better drop resistance. New camera features such as tilt-to-zoom and Frame Match provide creative shooting options. Despite the price hike, attributed to a memory shortage, it still offers enhanced photography and unique design qualities. Preorders start May 14th, with availability on May 21st.
