Donald Trump hosted children in the Oval Office for a physical fitness event on Tuesday, reviving the Presidential Physical Fitness Award, resulting in a predictably absurd scene.
In a Daily Show clip, host Desi Lydic plays footage of Trump telling the children about “the power of a nuclear weapon” before saying, “you might be too young for this.”
“No, they’re not too young, I’m sure they’ve already seen the Paw Patrol episode where they drop a ballistic missile on Humdinger,” Lydic comments. “How are you talking about nuclear war in front of children? You kids have seen Oppenheimer, right?”
Lydic then plays a montage of other topics Trump discussed with the kids, including the “rigged election,” “open borders,” and “the Dow.”
“Mom, could you pick me up from the White House?” Lydic jokes. “The president’s trauma dumping on me again.”
