Discord has introduced Nitro Rewards, a new feature for subscribers that incorporates benefits from third parties like Microsoft, Logitech, and SteelSeries, into a Nitro subscription. A key addition is that Nitro members will receive a new Xbox Game Pass starter edition at no added cost.

The Xbox Game Pass starter edition, which leaked recently, enables PC and Xbox users to download over 50 games, such as Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, and DayZ. This edition also includes 10 hours per month of Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming and opportunities to earn up to $25 annually in the Xbox Store through rewards.

Nitro subscribers will additionally receive up to 30% off at Logitech G, 15% off at SteelSeries, and 20% off at KontrolFreek. They will also automatically receive 250 Orbs each month, the in-app currency from Discord that encourages users to watch ads in return for features like avatar decorations or in-game bonuses.

“Having Xbox as a flagship partner along with Logitech and SteelSeries shows the potential of this program, and we will seek to add more benefits as it expands,” says Lu Zhang, senior director of product at Discord.
