The iPhone’s Camera app is becoming more customizable in iOS 27, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The Camera app will feature customizable widgets, allowing users to pick controls for the interface. Default controls like Night Mode and Flash will remain, but an advanced set of options will be available, with the menu moved to be more noticeable. Each capture mode will have its own widgets, and the app will gain a new Siri mode focusing on Visual Intelligence. Siri is receiving an overhaul with new features like a standalone app, Dynamic Island positioning, system-wide search, and AI-powered web search. Apple’s Weather app will have a “Conditions” panel, while Image Playground is redesigned for lifelike images. Other Apple apps will see improvements such as home screen customization controls and a new keyboard animation.
