Google has expanded AirDrop functionality to more Android devices. Is your Android phone included?
Apple’s AirDrop allows users to easily share photos, videos, and other files with nearby users. Android’s Quick Share offers a similar service. Last year, during the Pixel 10 series launch, Google announced that newer Android phones could use AirDrop through Quick Share. This allowed Android users to share files with iPhones much like iPhones do with each other using AirDrop.
Google has since gradually enabled AirDrop through Quick Share on more Android devices, including third-party phones like Samsung. This week, Google introduced the feature on numerous new devices.
