The upcoming adaptation of the Capcom game series, directed by Zach Cregger, is set to deliver the expected level of gore typical of a Resident Evil movie. In the teaser, we watch Austin Abrams making a frantic call to his girlfriend as he trudges through snow, encountering a terrifying world of multi-limbed creatures and splattering corpses. The film also features Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, Paul Walter Hauser, and Johno Wilson, with the writer/director known for “Weapons.” Resident Evil hits theaters on Sept. 18.
