Apple TV Greenlights New Project Starring ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ Actor

Apple Studios has revealed a new action thriller series named “Disavowed,” featuring James Marsden, renowned for his performances in “Your Friends & Neighbors” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” This series is derived from an original concept by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, the writers behind “Iron Man” and “Uncharted.”

In “Disavowed,” Marsden will take on the role of Brad Griffin, an esteemed CIA Case Officer who suddenly finds himself dismissed amidst a worldwide manhunt for an assassin responsible for the demise of a colleague. As a shamed former intelligence operative, Griffin opts to chase the $15 million reward placed on the assassin’s head, resulting in a high-stakes pursuit brimming with suspense and intrigue.

The series will be produced by Blue Marble Pictures, the same studio that created the renowned series “Pachinko.” “Disavowed” signifies the second partnership between Apple and Marsden, who is currently appearing in the second season of “Your Friends & Neighbors.”

While no information has been provided regarding the release date of “Disavowed,” Apple TV continues to broaden its selection of original programming. The streaming platform is priced at $12.99 each month and includes popular series and films, such as “Severance,” “The Studio,” “The Morning Show,” “Shrinking,” and “Silo.”
