Native Instruments’ CEO states that the acquisition by InMusic will ensure ongoing investment in its products. Native Instruments, known for its music production software and gear like Traktor and Kontakt, will soon be part of the InMusic family alongside other brands such as Akai Professional and Moog Music. According to MusicRadar, CEO Nick Williams mentioned that the company was seeking a buyer in March after starting bankruptcy proceedings in Germany. In a blog post about the acquisition, Williams described it as a “fresh start,” indicating continuity for brands including Native Instruments, iZotope, and Plugin Alliance. The companies have previously collaborated, with inMusic’s press release highlighting their 2025 collaboration, which integrated Native Instruments’ sounds into Akai Pro’s and M-Audio’s platforms, showcasing their shared values.
