Amazon Prime Video is introducing a vertical video feed similar to features on Netflix and Disney Plus. The new “Clips” feed will provide short video snippets from its shows and movies, allowing users to access the full title, rent, or purchase directly. Previously, Prime Video featured a TikTok-style feed with NBA highlights, but now users can explore snippets from various titles via a Clips carousel on the app’s homepage curated based on their viewing history. Users can add content from the Clips feed to their watchlist and share clips with friends via text, email, or social media. The recipient will need the Prime Video app to view the clip. Clips is initially available to select users in the US on iOS, Android, and Fire tablets, with a wider rollout expected this summer.
