Released in August 2025, Pips offers a unique twist on dominoes, creating a fun single-player experience that can become your next daily gaming habit. If stuck, the game only reveals the entire puzzle, making you move to the next difficulty and start over. We have piecemeal answers to serve as hints, guiding you through each difficulty level.
How to play Pips:
If you’ve played dominoes, you’ll be somewhat familiar with Pips. Tiles, like dominoes, are placed vertically or horizontally, connecting with each other. The main difference is the color-coded conditions. The touching tiles don’t necessarily have to match. The conditions depend on color-coded spaces; for instance, if there’s a single number, every side of a tile must add up to that number. Only half a tile may be within such spaces. Here are some examples you might encounter:
– Number: All pips in this space must add up to the number.
– Equal: Every domino half in this space must have the same number of pips.
– Not Equal: Each half in this space must differ in pips.
– Less than: Each half in this space must total less than the number.
– Greater than: Each half must total more than the number.
If an area lacks color coding, there are no conditions applied to the dominoes there.
Easy difficulty hints, answers for May 13 Pips:
– Less Than (3): Space must be <3. Answer: 5-0, horizontally.
– Number (25): Space total should be 25. Answer: 2-5 horizontally; 6-5 vertically; 5-0 horizontally; 5-5 horizontally.
– Equal (2): Space equal to 2. Answer: 2-5 horizontally; 2-3 horizontally.
Medium difficulty hints, answers for May 13 Pips:
– Less Than (2): Space must be <2. Answer: 1-0, vertically.
– Less Than (4): Space 4. Answer: 1-5, horizontally.
– Number (13): Space should total 13. Answer: 1-6 vertically; 2-4 vertically; 5-6 horizontally.
– Equal (4): Space equal to 4. Answer: 2-4 vertically; 4-6 horizontally.
