The Development and Diminishment of Samsung Edge Screens

1 Min Read

NewsPim has reported that Samsung is set to phase out its Edge line. This decision seems to stem from the disappointing sales of its newest Edge-branded model, the S25 Edge, which is also rumored to have faced production reductions. Following this development, it is anticipated that Samsung will entirely eliminate its curved screen designs, which some users may have already observed being gradually reduced.

In fact, the final device that Samsung launched with a curved screen was the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Even then, its curvature was less pronounced, appearing flatter compared to previous models. When the company introduced the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, it completely removed the curved screen. Instead, it aimed to compete with the iPhone 17 Air, with the Edge designation indicating its slender profile.
