Bluey’s Surprising Dropout Link Beyond the Game Changer Twist

Sam Reich, CEO of Dropout, revealed a surprising connection between the streaming platform and the hit Australian kids’ show “Bluey.” During an interview with Mashable Entertainment Editor Kristy Puchko, Reich discussed the “legally spicy” episode of “Game Changer” titled “Don’t Wake Standards and Practices,” where a parody of “Bluey” appeared. Reich mentioned that he previously collaborated with “Bluey” creator Joe Brumm on an animated series for Dropbox called “What the Fuck 101,” which was similar to a twisted version of “Magic School Bus.” At the time, Brumm was juggling both this project and the first season of “Bluey.” Reich fondly recalled working with Brumm at College Humor and Dropout, expressing admiration for “Bluey” as a heartfelt and original work of art. “What the Fuck 101” is available for streaming on Dropout, while “Bluey” can be streamed on Disney+.
