When the FineTrack 2’s non-replaceable battery eventually fails, it will need to be disposed of as e-waste. On May 19, 2026, Andrew Liszewski reported on Ugreen’s release of a new tracker compatible with Apple’s Find My network. This tracker, called the FineTrack 2, has a unique design that resembles a soccer ball, inspired by major football tournaments, and is intended to hang from keys or bags. Although it is larger than an AirTag, it is still compact enough to be hidden in a suitcase or car glove compartment. The waterproof tracker is priced at $19.99 and features a 600mAh CR2450 battery, lasting five to seven years without recharging, similar to Ugreen’s other trackers. However, once the battery depletes, the device becomes e-waste as it is non-replaceable. Ugreen also launched the FineTrack Mini 2, which offers the same features and battery life as the FineTrack 2 but in a smaller, more traditional design sold in four-packs for $45.99.
