The newest Fitbit model is available for under $100, requires charging once a week, and offers attractive color choices. Released by Google on May 7, the Fitbit Air is a screenless fitness tracker that Stephen Curry has been seen wearing. It ships on May 26 and competes with other similar devices, like Whoop. Priced at $99.99, it is a lightweight, user-friendly device that Google describes as simple yet functional.

The Fitbit Air weighs just 12 grams with the band, making it ideal for all-day wear. Its battery can last up to a week, and it includes advanced sleep tracking features. Google aims for simplicity in both functionality and design in this device. It tracks workouts, monitors heart rate constantly, and detects sleep stages. Unique features include alerts for heart rate rhythms and AFib, as well as SpO2 and heart-rate variability tracking. The device is water-resistant up to 50 meters and automatically detects workouts, improving over time with usage. It charges fully in about 90 minutes, and a quick five-minute charge can provide an extra day of use.

A special edition Stephen Curry model is available, featuring a Performance Loop band with water resistance and better airflow for high-intensity activities. It’s priced at $129.99, and preorders are live with a release date of May 26. Preordering offers a $35 Google Store credit and accessory bands start at $34.99.
