In conjunction with this change, Johny Srouji has been appointed as Apple’s chief hardware officer, broadening his duties to supervise Hardware Engineering.

Srouji, who has been with Apple since 2008, formerly occupied the role of Senior Vice President of Hardware Technologies. His vast experience includes a background in processor development and design at prominent firms such as Intel and IBM. In his new capacity, Srouji will oversee both hardware engineering and technologies, a move that reinforces Apple’s dedication to innovation in its hardware solutions.

In a press announcement, Apple underscored the achievements of John Ternus, who recently directed the Hardware Engineering team as Senior Vice President.
