1 Min Read

Elon Musk’s X is attempting to regain advertisers with a new AI-powered ad platform launching on Thursday. Initially, the tech company faced challenges in ad revenue growth under Musk, shifting focus to AI and subscriptions. Forecasts from eMarketer suggest that X’s ad revenue is improving, projected to reach $2.26 billion in 2025 and $2.46 billion in 2026, though still half of Twitter’s 2021 revenue.

X is introducing a new ad platform in phases with advanced AI systems for better campaign control and targeting. Monique Pintarelli, head of global advertising at xAI, highlighted the ambitious rebuild, emphasizing continuous improvements and feature releases. After merging with xAI, prioritizing the ad platform was expected. AI has driven growth in tech advertising, as noted by Google, Meta, and others experiencing a “digital ad boom,” automating marketing processes and lowering entry barriers for smaller businesses.
