“I did not come here to poke at your trauma,” is not something I, Mashable Entertainment Editor Kristy Puchko, expected to say to anyone, especially not to Scottish action star Gerard Butler. When we met to discuss the release of “Greenland 2: Migration” with a game of “Slash or Pass,” I was ready to talk about disaster movies, unaware of the many real-life disasters Butler has faced.
“My life is a disaster,” he joked during the game. Watch for yourself to see Butler calmly describe the stressful scenarios he’s been through. You’ll learn why, in times of danger, we should look to Gerard Butler.
In our disaster movie roundup, we mentioned Titanic, Airplane!, Geostorm, Twister, The Happening, and naturally, Greenland and Greenland 2: Migration. In the sequel, Butler returns as engineer and family man John Garrity, who previously got his wife and son to safety when the comet Clarke threatened Earth. This time, he’ll confront natural calamities and human threats to find a new “green land,” a place of peace, clean air, and a hopeful future.
Greenland 2: Migration is now streaming on HBO Max.
