CNET Group Big Guessing Game Contest (the “Contest”) is governed by these official rules (the “Contest Rules”). The Contest begins on May 19, 2026 at 12:01PM EST and ends on September 1, 2026 at 11:59PM EST (the “Contest Period”).
SPONSOR: Ziff Davis, LLC, with an address of 360 Park Avenue South, Floor 17, New York, New York 10010 (the “Sponsor”).
ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States of America or the District of Columbia. By entering the Contest as described in these Contest Rules, entrants represent and warrant that they agree to abide by and be bound by all the rules and terms and conditions stated herein and all decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding.
All previous winners of any Contest sponsored by Sponsor during the nine (9) month period prior to the Selection Date are not eligible. Individuals who have, within the past six (6) months, held employment with or performed services for Sponsor or any organizations affiliated with the Contest (“Employees”) are not eligible. Immediate Family Members and Household Members are also not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, visit any CNET Groups’ Contest Website and complete any or all of three (3) rounds of Contest questions during the Contest Period. Participants may only enter once per Website.
The Rounds are as follows:
– Round 1: May 19, 2026 at 12:01PM EST to June 2, 2026 at 11:59PM EST
– Round 2: July 7, 2026 at 12:01PM EST to July 21, 2026 at 11:59PM EST
– Round 3: August 18, 2026 at 12:01PM EST to September 1, 2026 at 11:59PM EST
Entries are limited to individuals only; no commercial enterprises. Multiple entries via multiple accounts may lead to disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to technical issues.
JUDGING CRITERIA: Each correct answer during any of the three Contest Rounds results in one entry.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Sponsor shall select the Winners approximately three weeks from the Contest’s end. The Winner will be notified via email and required to respond within fourteen (14) business days. Sponsor reserves the right to select alternate Winners if needed.
PRIZE: Five (5) winners, one from each CNET Group Website, will receive a new Apple Watch, valued at approximately $399.00 USD. If the Prize cannot be awarded, a substitute Prize of equal value will be chosen.
ACCEPTANCE AND DELIVERY OF THE PRIZE: Winners may need to verify their address and return documents within fourteen (14) business days. The Prize will be shipped within thirty (30) business days after receipt of documents.
OTHER RULES: This Contest is subject to all applicable laws and is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. All submissions are the property of the Sponsor.
By entering, each Winner grants the Sponsor permission to use their name, city, state/province, and entry materials in advertising or promotion of the Contest without further consent or compensation.
If fraud or technical difficulties affect the Contest’s integrity, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries and/or terminate the Contest.
DISCLAIMER: The Prize is provided “as is” without further warranty of any kind.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Entrants release the Sponsor and its affiliates from any Claims arising out of participation in the Contest.
DISPUTES: Disputes will be resolved individually before a New York County court. All disputes are governed by New York State laws.
PRIVACY: Information collected is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy.
SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION: The Contest is not sponsored by any social media platforms.
