### Spotify’s Frustrating CarPlay Issue

Spotify users are presently facing an irritating bug when utilizing the app through Apple CarPlay. Reports suggest that the track title, artist, and album shown on the CarPlay interface do not align with the actual song playing. This situation has led users to express their dissatisfaction on Spotify’s official Community site and on forums like Reddit.

One user pointed out the concern, remarking, “Lately, there’s a delay during song transitions while using Apple CarPlay. The song information and album art are one track behind.” Another user detailed on Reddit, pointing out two particular problems:

1. The album artwork, titles, and artists seem “mixed up,” with CarPlay occasionally showing the last song played or blending details from both previous and current tracks.
2. After rebooting their phone and launching Spotify on CarPlay, the screen showed a blank layout with no interactive options.

The occurrence of this bug appears to coincide with a recent update from Spotify, which also rolled out a disputed disco ball-themed app icon. Spotify has confirmed that this icon will soon revert to the original logo.

In reaction to the feedback, Spotify has recognized the issue, stating that the relevant team is looking into it and will provide updates shortly.

For those in search of a smooth CarPlay experience, Apple Music is recommended as a suitable alternative. Apple Music provides a subscription for $10.99 monthly, with the potential for a free trial.
