Apple Weather Outage: Users Report Issues with Weather App

1 Min Read

The popular iOS weather app appears to be experiencing outages.

iPhone users in the United States are encountering difficulties accessing the Apple iOS Weather app on Tuesday afternoon. For many iPhone users, using the standard Apple Weather app is part of their routine, but the app is not loading for everyone. Users on X and Reddit have expressed confusion and frustration over the app issues, with some stating they can’t remember the app ever having problems before.

Several Mashable editors in the United States couldn’t access the app, although one editor could open it after a 10-second delay. As of now, Apple’s online support page shows no issues with the Weather app. Mashable has reached out to Apple for comment and will update the story upon receiving a response.

DownDetector, a platform for reporting errors with various websites and apps, doesn’t have a page for the Weather app but shows spikes in The Weather Channel app and Apple Support complaints. Internet outages have been increasingly common, but significant disruptions within the Apple ecosystem are still rare.
