Claude is Now Integrated with Your Personal Apps like Spotify, Uber Eats, and TurboTax

Anthropic has announced the availability of new app connectors for all Claude users, with the mobile version currently in beta. These connectors allow Claude to integrate with more personal apps like Audible, Spotify, Uber, AllTrails, TripAdvisor, Instacart, and TurboTax, expanding beyond the previous focus on work-related apps like Microsoft. The initiative aims to enhance everyday activities, such as hiking and grocery shopping. Some apps, like Spotify, already have similar integrations with OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Once an app is connected, Claude will suggest using it when relevant, such as recommending hikes through AllTrails. Importantly, users’ data from these apps is not used to train Anthropic’s AI models, and app interactions remain separate from other Claude conversations. Users can also disconnect any app at any time. Anthropic emphasizes that there are no sponsored answers in Claude’s conversations, and results from connected apps are ranked by usefulness. Users will be asked to verify actions like purchases or reservations linked to these apps. The new connectors are accessible on all Claude plans, and apps can be managed through the “connectors” option in the Claude sidebar.
