Conducted through acquisitions from the Cairo International Book Fair 2026, this project boosts content quality and collection management as part of its ongoing strategic partnership with the library.
This initiative leverages Naseej’s expertise in collection development, supporting libraries in fostering sustainable knowledge ecosystems through quality content and efficient access. Naseej employed a thorough methodology, beginning with user needs analysis and curated selection lists, followed by validation processes to align with collection policies.
The Naseej team managed the acquisition lifecycle from on-site evaluations at the book fair to inventory verification, quality control, procurement, shipment preparation, delivery, and receipt. This was accompanied by comprehensive reporting on received, excluded, or damaged items, ensuring strong governance and data-driven decision-making.
The approach allows the library to offer current, reliable content, improving knowledge access and user experience. It further solidifies the library’s role in reading, research, and innovation, enhancing its global knowledge and cultural presence.
