The NYT Connections puzzle today is quite simple if you’re a fan of action films.
Connections is one of the most popular New York Times word games. It’s about finding the “common threads between words.” Like Wordle, Connections resets after midnight, with each new set of words becoming increasingly difficult. We’ve provided some hints and tips to help you overcome the challenge.

What is Connections?
The NYT’s newest daily word game has become a social media sensation. The Times credits associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu with helping create this word game for the Games section. Connections is available on both web browsers and mobile devices and requires players to group four related words.
Each puzzle includes 16 words divided into four categories. These groupings can consist of various themes like book titles, software, or country names. While many words might seem connected, there’s only one correct answer.
Players must identify all four words in a set correctly to remove them from the board. Incorrect guesses count as mistakes, and players can make up to four mistakes before the game ends.
Players can also shuffle and rearrange the board to find connections more easily. Each group is color-coded with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Like Wordle, results are shareable on social media.
