The Mic Pro is intentionally designed to be worn visibly. Insta360’s initial wireless microphone kit launched in June with compact, AirTag-sized microphones ideal for discreet wearing. The new Insta360 Mic Pro, teased at the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, is meant to be showcased. Each transmitter features a round E Ink color screen customizable with photos, logos, branding, or custom artwork.

While there’s no specific launch date yet, the Mic Pro is set for a global release later this year. It comes with wireless transmitters that include a three-microphone array and a dedicated AI processor for noise reduction.

Like the previous Mic Air, the new Mic Pro can connect and stream audio directly to many of Insta360’s cameras, eliminating the need for a wireless receiver and a smartphone or laptop for audio recording. For added security, the microphones can also record audio independently, providing a backup in case of issues with other recording devices.
