Not only will the Switch 2’s price rise in Nintendo’s native country, but all Switch variations, including the Switch Lite and OLED, will see increases too. To exacerbate the situation, although Nintendo Switch Online is a worldwide service necessary for playing online games (as well as a growing selection of classic titles), Japanese subscribers will face higher monthly fees. Meanwhile, gamers in other regions will maintain their current fees — for now.
