What is Connections?
The latest NYT daily word game, Connections, has gained popularity on social media. Created with associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, it requires players to find connections among four words. Available on both web browsers and mobile devices, each puzzle gives you 16 words divided into four groups based on shared attributes.
Correctly identifying all four words removes them from the board, but incorrect guesses count as mistakes, with a limit of four. Players can reorganize the board to make connections clearer, and each group is color-coded—yellow is the simplest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Results can be shared with friends on social media.
