Agent 4 introduces pivotal features aimed at boosting workflow and efficiency. Phil Clark reports on May 16, 2026.

Apple lifted its temporary ban on Replit updates, and Agent 4, initially teased in March, is now officially launched. CEO Amjad Massad announced on X: “We resolved the issues with Apple and released our app for the first time in four months. Thanks to our customers and creators for their support. We never give up, stay winning, and now deliver updates!”

The update presents powerful enhancements such as parallel agents for managing multiple tasks simultaneously, project collaboration through merged flows, and multi-workspace project views.

The specifics of the resolution with Apple, concerning a clause in Apple’s App Review Guidelines on self-containment, remain unspecified. Replit’s Agent app was deemed to breach this clause, as it could program apps, allegedly bypassing the App Store. Whether Apple revised its stance or Replit made adjustments is unclear, but Agent 4 is now accessible for download on iPhone and iPad.
