Rhea Seehorn Joins Cast of Apple Original Film ‘Running’
Rhea Seehorn has officially become a part of the cast of the forthcoming Apple Original film ‘Running,’ as announced by Apple TV’s account on X. This signifies Seehorn’s second venture with Apple, following her praised performance in ‘Better Call Saul.’
Directed by Gavin O’Connor, ‘Running’ presents a captivating story focused on a homeless high school running talent, played by Spike Fearn. The film delves into themes of perseverance and the quest for excellence as the protagonist utilizes his running abilities to flee his troubled history and discover a sense of belonging.
Alongside Seehorn and Fearn, the cast features Brian Tyree Henry, recognized for his roles in ‘Causeway’ and ‘Dope Thief,’ both of which earned him notable recognition. Henry’s participation in ‘Running’ represents his third partnership with Apple TV.
The script for ‘Running’ is written by Bill Dubuque, who collaborated with O’Connor on ‘The Accountant 2.’ Although specific release dates for ‘Running’ have not yet been revealed, the film is presently in the initial production phases.
