Capcom’s iconic video game franchise has a new trailer for the upcoming film “Street Fighter,” showcasing a lineup of elite warriors. Directed by Kitao Sakurai and set in 1993, it stars Andrew Koji as Ryu and Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, former friends who reunite when Chun-Li, played by Callina Liang, brings them into the World Warrior Tournament. This high-stakes event harbors a deadly plot.

The trio faces fierce opponents such as M. Bison (David Dastmalchian), Balrog (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson), and Akuma (Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i), with the trailer displaying epic confrontations. Fans can look forward to Zangief’s (Olivier Richters) body slams and Dhalsim’s (Vidyut Jammwal) stretchy maneuvers, along with nods to the game’s lore, like Chun-Li’s famed thigh strength. The iconic Hadouken by Ryu also features prominently.

“Street Fighter” is set to premiere in theaters on Oct. 16.
