Saudi Arabia has advanced its digital infrastructure with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) migrating its Student Information System, “Rayat,” to a local cloud environment within Saudi Arabia. This strategic national project, completed with the help of Naseej for Technology, ensures seamless operation without disrupting daily processes.
This project highlights TVTC’s leadership in digital transformation, supporting Saudi Vision 2030 by enhancing national human capital development and strengthening government digital infrastructure. TVTC oversees numerous technical colleges and private training providers, relying on Rayat for managing trainee and trainer lifecycles.
Supporting 260,000 trainees across 283 facilities, Rayat’s migration is crucial for maintaining operational readiness to accommodate growing student numbers. The migration, led by TVTC and supported by Naseej for Technology, aligns with national digital transformation priorities, focusing on security, sustainability, and scalability. Ensuring zero disruption, the project involved creating a new secure cloud architecture for Rayat, reengineering system integrations, and implementing backup scenarios.
Successfully migrating Rayat enhances TVTC’s operational resilience and performance. Phased execution and risk management ensured a smooth transition without affecting operations, setting a benchmark for regional cloud migrations.
