Google is set to release its personal AI agent. At the Google I/O 2026 conference, the company introduced Gemini Spark, an AI agent that can access users’ personal files with Gemini intelligence. Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that a beta version would be available to Google AI Ultra subscribers. Gemini Spark will operate on the new Gemini 3.5 Flash model. Unlike OpenClaw, which requires local installation on devices like a Mac Mini, Gemini Spark is cloud-based, making it more accessible without hardware concerns. This feature allows it to run continuously without needing extra devices. As a Google user, Gemini Spark integrates seamlessly with Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Drive, offering instant access and functionality. Google’s focus on cybersecurity includes an Agent Payments Protocol (AP2) to prevent unauthorized transactions by AI agents. This protocol sets limits on AI spending. Gemini Spark’s beta will launch soon for AI Ultra subscribers before a broader release. This could make Gemini Spark the first widely-used AI agent, thanks to Google’s reach and trust.
