Stan Schroeder recently reviewed Apple’s updated AirPods Max 2. While noise cancellation has improved, it still can’t match the AirPods Pro 3: “Wearing them on a busy street makes the outside noise vanish spectacularly,” he writes. So, if you’re seeking top-notch ANC, stick with the AirPods Pro 3. They’re currently $199.99 at Amazon and Walmart, nearly $50 off their usual price. They briefly hit $184 on Amazon back in February but never since.
For comparison, the AirPods Max 2 are up to $350 pricier depending on the color.

The AirPods Pro 3 have the same H2 chip as the Max 2, supporting features like Adaptive Audio and Live Translation. They also have a built-in heart rate monitor that “worked perfectly,” according to contributor Adam Doud. (Read his full review.)
On their own, the AirPods Pro 3 offer up to eight hours of battery life with ANC enabled, plus an extra 24 hours from the charging case.
I assure you won’t find a better deal — even used pairs are pricier. They’re $239.99 at B&H Photo and full price at Best Buy and Target. Best Buy’s open-box AirPods Pro 3 are $204.99 in fair condition. Pass.
