Fresha, a beauty booking startup, reaches $1 billion valuation with KKR support

Fresha, a beauty and wellness booking marketplace, has secured an $80 million investment from KKR’s Next Generation Technology Growth fund, positioning the London-based firm at a valuation exceeding $1 billion. This investment signals that KKR’s growth equity arm views Fresha as beyond the initial risky stages and ready for scaling, indicating confidence in its established business model.

Since its founding in London in 2015, Fresha has experienced notable growth. Back in 2021, Fresha was aiding 60,000 businesses with over 150,000 professionals in 120 countries. As of now, Fresha supports over 140,000 businesses, facilitating more than 35 million monthly bookings, which equates to over a billion annually, ranking it among the top scheduling platforms across sectors.

Fresha’s total fundraised amount is now $285 million, with plans to use the latest investment for international expansion and developing AI features.
