Would you be interested in a day summary?

Google introduced numerous AI agent updates at Google I/O, but one standout for everyday users is the Daily Brief. This opt-in service for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers in the U.S. organizes your day by summarizing information from emails and calendars, offering more than a simple to-do list.
The Daily Brief starts with a “top of mind” section, determined by Google’s Gemini AI. “Coordinate your high-stakes Sunday morning,” was an example given by Google Labs and Gemini VP Josh Woodward.
Daily Brief is based on Google’s popular Labs feature, CC, known for a waitlist and comprising “top of mind” and “FYI” sections with a daily calendar summary. “Daily Brief presents a seamless and intuitive entry into AI agents,” Woodward noted in a blog post.
The effectiveness of Daily Brief emails in attracting subscribers for Plus, Pro, and Ultra accounts ($8, $20, and $100-$200 monthly, respectively) is yet to be determined. Yet, it demonstrates how AI agents can simplify busy lives.
