This feature resembles pronunciation tools found in Duolingo’s language app. It’s now accessible to Android users in the US and India, offering support for English, Spanish, and Hindi. There is no current information on its availability for iOS users or other regions.
The release is part of Google Translate’s 20th-anniversary celebration, marking pronunciation practice as a highly requested feature. Google disclosed that its Translate, Search, Lens, and Circle to Search services collectively translate about one trillion words monthly, with over one billion monthly users.
