The Apple emblem was spotted during the Antigravity presentation….LOL
It’s Google I/O, the largest conference of the year for Android developers held in Mountain View. So why did we observe that the company was utilizing a MacBook in one of its live demonstrations? Varun Mohan, an engineer for Antigravity at Google Deepmind, is demonstrating the functionality of Antigravity. However, one detail we spotted was right at the top of his computer screenshare, where a small Apple logo is visible. One would expect the company to opt for a Chromebook. Despite the absence of any glitches, this oversight is quite amusing.
Here’s a closer look at the logo:
And that’s not the sole instance of Google employing Apple devices during the event. An iPhone 17 Pro (Max?) was prominently displayed during Google’s Gemini Spark demo, showcasing the agent in action while the phone lay down.
But why did Google choose to do this??
Google typically presents these kinds of new features and announcements using the company’s own devices (for evident reasons), but it appears they are attempting to subtly convey that Gemini’s latest capabilities aren’t exclusively for Android users. Will Apple users take notice?
