Announced following its original debut in 2019, this upgraded wearable air conditioner offers performance and design enhancements from its Pro predecessor, facilitating discreet under-shirt wear. Now available in Europe and other markets for €229 or £199 (approximately $270), availability in the US remains unannounced. Unlike simple air-blasting devices like the Dyson HushJet Mini Cool, the Reon Pocket Pro Plus uses a cooling plate, similar to the Shark ChillPill’s accessory. It features flexible arms to secure it on the upper back and a cooler metal plate surface, complemented by an optimized cooling algorithm for a 20% performance boost. Improvements include a revamped exhaust vent to direct warm air away, even in high-collared shirts, and compatibility with a new, more compact Reon Pocket Tag 2 sensor for accurate environmental readings.
