Google Introduces Antigravity 2.0 with Enhanced Desktop App and CLI Tool

2 Min Read

Google has unveiled Google Antigravity 2.0, an updated version of its agentic coding application, which includes a revamped desktop app, a CLI tool, and an SDK for personalized workflows. Originally launched to rival agentic coding tools like Cursor, this new version enables users to manage multiple agents and perform tasks simultaneously. Users can also create custom subagent workflows and automate background tasks. Integration with Google AI Studio, Android, and Firebase is made simpler. Much of this is driven by the new Gemini 3.5 Flash model, co-developed with Antigravity. Additionally, Google has introduced native voice command support and an Antigravity CLI for those preferring a terminal interface. Users of the Gemini CLI tool are encouraged to switch to the new one. An Antigravity SDK is now available for developers to build custom agents, and Google Cloud customers can connect to Antigravity for project development. Enterprise users can access AI Studio’s custom agent templates. An Antigravity export tool is also provided for project continuation locally. Antigravity’s capabilities are incorporated into consumer products like Search, where it generates custom UIs in real time, allowing users to develop mini-apps while searching. Google also offers a new $100 AI Ultra plan, providing 5x the AI limits of the Pro plan, and has reduced the AI Ultra plan price from $250 to $200, offering 20x higher limits. Companies like Anthropic and OpenAI have introduced similar pricing tiers to cater to varying AI usage needs.
