You can get the physical version of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for $39.99 ($20 off). The game looks impressive on the 2017 hardware but performs significantly better on the Switch 2 with the additional $10 upgrade pack that offers hi-res textures, faster loading times, and Joy-Con mouse mode.
For Switch 2 users, buying the discounted game and the digital upgrade pack costs $50 instead of the usual $70 price for the Switch 2 Edition version. It can be a bit confusing.
The latest Prime game deviates from previous entries, the last of which was released in 2007. Beyond features open-world design elements, including map markers, collectibles, and a sleek motorcycle for bounty hunter Samus Aran to traverse the vast desert where Beyond’s story takes place.
