Garmin’s Latest Fitness Tracker Revealed, Likely Priced at Five Times the Amount of Fitbit Air

Garmin’s anticipated Cirqa fitness band has surfaced in leaks, showcasing an unexpectedly steep price that could make it the costliest screenless fitness tracker available. A listing from a Ukrainian retailer indicates that the Garmin Cirqa is projected to be priced at approximately 22,399 Ukrainian hryvnia, or about $510. This price notably exceeds that of rival screenless fitness trackers, including the Fitbit Air and Whoop, which are priced around $100 and $199 to $359 annually, respectively.

The Cirqa features a fabric band and is devoid of a display, concentrating on comprehensive health tracking throughout the day. It is expected to continuously monitor various health metrics, including sleep, heart rate, and calories burned. Reports suggest that the band will come in two sizes, S/M and L/XL, and be available in black and gray colorways.

Garmin’s foray into the screenless fitness tracker arena comes on the heels of Google’s recent Fitbit Air launch, also focused on 24/7 health tracking without a screen. The Cirqa’s elevated pricing implies that Garmin might include advanced features or enhanced tracking abilities to warrant the expense. Nevertheless, the official pricing and specific features remain unverified, and the pricing in the U.S. may vary from the leaked Ukrainian information.
